When is Diwali and what are the five days?
The main night — Lakshmi Puja — falls on Sunday, 8 November 2026, 103 days from today. Diwali is a five-day festival — Dhanteras, Choti Diwali, Lakshmi Puja (the main night), Govardhan Puja / Padwa and Bhai Dooj — so the crackers are spread across several evenings, not just one.
The Lakshmi-puja muhurat above is the commonly-published evening window — exact timings shift by city and year, so check your local panchang for the precise muhurat. We sell the crackers; we don't issue the muhurat. To have everything in hand for the first evening, place your order well ahead — allow a few days for it to reach you across India.
