Diwali night is the one date the national order names directly, and Bengaluru has its own recent track record of local confirmation on top of it: the KSPCB and the Bengaluru city police commissioner have publicly set the same roughly two-hour band, commonly 8–10 PM, for several Deepavali seasons running (Deccan Herald; India Today). It's reissued as a fresh notification each year rather than a standing law, so confirm the 2026 order close to the festival instead of assuming it repeats on its own.

The same national baseline applies before any local rule. For anything newer, check the 2026 notification from the Bengaluru city police or the Karnataka pollution control board. In a city built mostly on apartment living, many gated communities and resident-welfare associations also set their own compound rules for where and how loudly residents can burst crackers, on top of whatever the city notification allows; check your building's notice before the night arrives.

The 2-to-4-day transit band is the easy part of the calculation; the hard part is the dispatch queue in the two weeks before Diwali, when every order in the country competes for the same surface-courier capacity out of the Sivakasi belt, and in Bengaluru specifically, the final leg through festival-week traffic to reach a specific tower and flat inside a large complex.
